Hygienic Plastic Wall Cladding Choosing Which Material

Helping you choose the right wall cladding material for your project.

Choosing the right Wall Cladding Sheet for your project

All our sheets are available in the sizes 8ftx4ft or 10ftx4ft and are the industry standard 3mm thickness. Each of the three materials is excellent in the right place.

The properties of each material shown below will help you decide which one is right for you and your project.

Polypropylene is an excellent budget material, immensely tough and almost indestructible, but will cut easily. It is BS476 Part 7 Class 4 fire rated and must be totally mechanically fixed, as it does not accept adhesives. Use in areas of high abuse, where Class 1 fire rating is not important and where a budget price is more important.

GF (Medium Density) PVC is an immense favourite and excellent value. It is BS476 Part 7 Class 1 fire rated and is very good with adhesive. It has a durable, hard, white gloss surface and cuts easily. Use where Class 1 fire rating is important on a medium budget.

Hi-D (High Density) PVC is a heavier, more durable sheet. It is BS476 Part 7 Class 1 and Part 6 Class 0 Fire Rated and accepts adhesive. It has a hard satin finish and cuts with a fine saw or jig saw. Use where Class 1 fire rating is important and the budget allows for the extra weight of material.
